Thanks so much for the shoutout Jen - I've even super poor on my Substack notifications lately, something I aim to correct in 2024. I'm super grateful and very chuffed to be included in such a brilliant crowd of writers. I think your idea to be more connected this year is a brilliant one, and one I'd like to emulate.
Thank you so much for mentioning me, Jen. I call it ‘practising my scales’ as I’m doing some other writing now and at the moment, it helps me to write to a deadline every Monday morning.
And also I hope I can help more people read what you do as it’s clear in its value! And I know how nice it feels to have more people read work that you put effort into. 🥰
That sounds similar to why I started: I’d listened to Seth Godwin on Emma Ganon’s podcast talk about “shipping the work”: showing up doing your thing consistently and thought that I should commit too.
Absolutely love this!
Thanks! 😊
Oh well this has made my day. I'm very honoured to be included alongside writer I so much admire. Thank you, Jen
🥰 my pleasure! I’m really enjoying your writing!
Lovely stuff Jen, and thanks so much for the very kind mention. x
My pleasure, lovely xx
I’ve marked my diary.
🎉😁

What a great list - thank you! I LOVE Mark Diacono's substack : food, cookery, writing, playlists... fabulous
You've made an already excellent day even lovelier, thank you SO much....and in such brilliant company. I very much love what you are doing here too x
Also super excited about your podcast, it sounds fab, and some excellent guests lined up already x
A little far from me at the moment but I wish I could come!
I really like Sarah Lemanski’s lyrical, witty writing in Bake Sense.
Oh my goodness, I’m even subscribed! How could I overlook? 🤦🏻♀️

I used to attend Thane’s cookbook club too and can second that it was fab, all the people Jen mentioned were fab and Jen herself was a fab person too
