I’ve been writing a long post about restaurants in Melbourne and Sydney. The London restaurants post still sits in my drafts, too. 🫣

I was planning to send the Australian one out today but I totally forgot how bad jet lag from Australia is. 😵‍💫

We got back Tuesday evening and were asleep by 8pm. We were all awake from 1.30am-ish and I finally got Maya back to sleep at 5am for three more hours. No such luck for me. Instead I slept from 10.30am until 2pm during those first precious school hours in over a month. This was the time I was planning to finish my restaurant post (and my taxes…🫠).

Last night I was back in bed within an hour of putting Maya to sleep but we were all up at 1.30am again. This time she napped from 6am until 7.30am. Again, no more sleep for me. 🫨And this was after we’d both had melatonin before bed both nights…
