Sorry this is late. The first part of this week I was frantically racing around to final bakeries and cafes in Melbourne and packing to head home. Maya didn’t sleep at all on our flight to Vietnam and has only slept short stretches since, whilst we’re here in transit, so I’m both tired and time-deprived. 🙃 She’s at my knees showing me pictures on my phone as I type this paragraph. Excellent parenting.
I am happiest when I am eating delicious things, learning new things and spending time with interesting people. Even more so if the sun is shining too. This trip has been as close to perfect as I could have wished for. It’s been especially heart-filling watching Maya form the most adorable bonds with my family - eventually even Moses the dog.
I ate SO many delicious things in Melbourne I’m sad to think I won’t get to eat them again for a long time.
