The best chocolate shop in Vietnam

It might actually be the only chocolate shop in Vietnam. But it's better than many chocolate shops in other countries too.

Stepping out of Melbourne Airport is one of my favourite experiences. It’s not just a coming home, of sorts, but it’s arriving to a bright, bright blue sky from a cold English winter and the relief of arriving after the long, long flight.

This time we got off in Hà Nội for two nights and I’m so glad we did. Not least because the last time we came to Australia, when Maya was six months old, we pushed straight through and it meant I barely had two short naps in a 38 hour period and I was delirious with tiredness by the time we arrived.

But the real reason was because I finally got to visit Maison Marou. And because I love Southeast Asia. It feels like home, too.
