The new, very French-inspired Birley Bakery is open! I think I told you there was a chance they’d open before January. They did! I hope I’ll get a chance to go by this week, but in the meantime I’ve shared this little video of some of what I saw and tasted in their production kitchen last month. You can read more about what I loved here. It’s at 28-30 Cale Street, Chelsea, SW3 3QU (not showing up on Google maps yet!).

I popped into the Pump Street Chocolate Pop Up and regret not buying their moreish chocolate covered hazelnuts - available in milk and dark. It’s worth going for an Eccles cake too.
