But first, for all of you, a little bakery and market news. Next week, I’ll be sharing some book recommendations and more delicious things.
Then - probably the week after that 😅 - everything I ate in Paris last month!

Knead A Little Love is closing
It’s hard to run a business. Harder still when costs keep rising and people are spending less. Bravo to these brilliant women for knowing when to stop. I don’t think we give enough credit to people who stop.
You have until Sunday to experience their vegan viennoiserie and doughnuts. Go and give them a little love!

Brilliant pastry chef and chocolatier Leyre Pedrazuela Otero is opening her doors on her Farnham patisserie - Petite Patisserie - this week in partnership with Farnham Bush Hotel. I’m hoping to get there to visit tomorrow and I’ll report back next week!
Leyre made chocolates for one of the online Mystery Chocolate Tastings I ran and they were excellent. She also has a self-published book.

What I’ve been drinking this week
I was sent this hot chocolate by Before Chocolate. No powders, just roasted and winnowed cocoa beans ground into chocolate and bagged up with coconut sugar. Three tablespoons really did make a good rich cup of hot chocolate!
The bags are £4.99 which makes five cups of hot chocolate.
Available by post from Before Chocolate, wherever you are in the world!
New things I tried at The London Coffee Festival 2024
Lots of the businesses I encountered at the festival this year were ones I’ve met before, but there were some particularly exciting and interesting things.
As well as the list I shared in the social media posts, I’ve put a few other things I found when I went back on Friday, plus more details about each product along with pictures and links and some fascinating facts.
